VoloAccess
A real alternative to fixed lines, the VoloAccess Convergent Wireless Terminal is capable of downlink speeds of up to 42Mbps.
The VoloAccess is a Convergent Wireless Terminal for use over HSPA/HSPA+ capable UMTS networks. It provides both voice and wireless broadband Internet services in areas where conventional telephone lines either do not exist or are too far from the nearest xDSL enabled exchange. Where a HSPA+ network is not available the Voloaccess automatically falls back to the next best available technology.
The VoloAccess provides broadband Internet access via four Ethernet ports (or high speed WiFi), in addition to support for analogue phones via the RJ11 ports.
Communication cost savings can be made when used for least-cost-routing between enterprise fixed line PBX and 3G wireless network. Additional savings can be realised via VoIP and FoIP utilising the internal ATA functionality.
WAN failover provides Internet connection redundancy. Backup connectivity options include externally connected 3G USB modem, or an alternate device (such as xDSL modem) connected via the WAN port.
Convenient updates of firmware are facilitated automatically over-the-air.
The optional rechargeable Li-ion battery pack provides continuous operation during power failures.
